Invited Session on
Web Based Teaching and Learning Technologies
The aim of the session is to bring together researchers and practitioners who work on ways of implementing various technologies for web based teaching and learning systems. Web Based Education is a vital aspect of Information Society. The engineering process of learning systems is a complex task that incorporates organizational, administrative, instructional and technological risks.
Different approaches have been proposed by the scientific society and various innovative implementations exist in applied research in order to leverage the complexity and achieve quality in the offered services. The session aims to trace the interest of system designers, usability experts and scientists working in the web based teaching and learning sector.
Topics of the session include but are not limited to:
- Architectures for web based teaching and learning systems
- Evaluation of web based teaching and learning systems
- Collaborative web based teaching and learning systems
- Usability issues of web based teaching and learning systems
